We have used Rob several times and have always been very pleased with his work and his ethics. He is an advocate for his clients and will protect them like a Papa Bear. He is the most honest man in the business and takes every job to heart. We highly recommend him and will use him again.
Situation: My daughter (neuroscience major, Honors, RA, & Varsity LAX player) needed housing for a summer internship. We found an apartment with another realtor that met all needed criteria. I called Mr. Daw right away to tell him (he had even told us to look on our own); after yelling at and insulting me, he hung up on me. (He hung up on my daughter in a previous conversation before even talking to her. I reset that conversation.) Just today, after finding a suitable living situation, I called him. After his rant, I really took the high road and sent him a Thank You email (a small portion of which is below). After my email is his response. Judge for yourself. I'm afraid Mr. Daw was a loose cannon in our dealings..
To Mr. Daw: Dear Mr. Daw, I know you're angry & disappointed that we didn't find a suitable property with you, & you worked very hard to try to help us. Regardless of how you feel, we appreciate your efforts & hard work... (there was more but not enough space here to put the whole thing, but you get the tone...) Parent
This douche bag cussed, swore, and was vulgar to me. He then called me back and said "I wish you were here because I would come to your house with a shotgun". I wish you would. because you would come tuff and leave with your tail between your legs. This guy is the broker owner of a real estate company. Dont worry I have you on the list sir.
Never have I ever met a more unkind and unprofessional agent; aggressive, insulting, screamed at me on the phone; sent me an entire 800 word essay personally picking me apart- and his response to my polished response was "I'm not going to read this." An absolute child. Run for the hills.
Very negative experience. When I informed him that I had found a house through other means, he proceeded to throw insults and hung up on me. Would not recommend.
From Mr. Daw: I 'm deleting this w/o reading it because you don't get it. You're a helicopter parent that's enabling your daughter to behave the way she & her friends do. The sad thing is I'll never try & help anybody like this again. You're focused on doing only what's best for you & have used my good nature to get what you want. I even had a restaurant willing to give waitressing jobs to them! I embarressed myself in front of my clients that I have convinced to consider these arrangements. Nothing you could say would change my opinion that you are greedy and self serving; what a lesson to your daughter to have bitten the hand of help. Do not contact me again; what an eye opening and sad experience.
