meh. it kinda sucks.
This school is like Jeb(!), but not a mess. That deserves praise.
Very thankful for a high school education. Graduated in 1976. Went on to the Air Force and college. Hard working teachers.
My Son had a horrible experience at this school. The teachers and the administration all seem pretty burned out. They like to go on and on about how this teacher or that administrator has "decades of experience." If that is the case, why were they all so inept in dealing with a difficult student with authority issues? Could it be that my son was the first student they encountered in 20 or 30 years that didn't like being told what to do? Is having an aversion to authority something unheard of in the teenage population? They treated him like he was totally useless. They ignored the instructions from the MD that were outlined in his IEP. In hindsight, I should have sued them for that. Instead, I took him out of school. He got his GED. Then I "educated" him in the world of reality, using the guidelines laid out by the MD in the IEP. He is now, at the age of 21, a charming, successful, hardworking young man. He studied, on his own, and obtained his licenses to sell health and life insurance. He is the top salesman in a company of adults twice his age. He makes more money than a teacher, drives a BMW that he pays for, and gives $20 bills to homeless men. Nobody tells him what to do.
It's got a nice track on the hill that we go walks around.
